Mischief

Our little mischief-maker!
Reece is definitely entering the "Terrible Twos!" He is defiant, stubborn, ornery, independent...and totally love-able!
This morning he found a sheet of Cars stickers. He thought they looked good on his legs!
Look at that stubborn little grin!
I heard a loud, crashing sound, and then I heard little feet running across the room...and then I found Reece and his vacuum "hiding" in this Thirty-One storage tote. Hmmm...his face tells me something just went down!

Bike Ride

Garrett recently decided it was time to try out his bike again. So we all set out on a neighborhood tour. The last time he tried to ride he was frustrated & didn't want our help. This time he took off right away!

Unbeknownst to Garrett, Steve helped out with a little shove. But for the most part Garrett did all the pedaling...
...even uphill!
Reece was content hanging out in the stroller.

I think I can...I think I can...
Garrett made it all the way to the high school (2 blocks), around the hs lot, and about 1/3 of the way home. At that point he hopped in the stroller with his brother!
Reece got to take a ride too w/Daddy's help!

Carsen's Birthday Party

Reece & Garrett's daycare buddy, Carsen, celebrated his 2nd birthday in style at the local splash pad!
We started out the party with balloons...

...and cupcakes that look like Cookie Monster!!

We then moved on to the Splash Pad!!!
Reece was a bit timid at first. He, Carsen, and Carsen's dad, Randy, gradually made their way toward the ring of water...

(there was no hesitation by big brother, Garrett)

...the little guys made it through the water ring...
...and then Reece was like a wild man! He ran through every water fixture without even looking back!

Carsen, Garrett, and Reece dancing in the water!
Drinched...and loving it!
We are looking forward to many more trips to the Splash Pad this summer!

The Boys

Here are a few candids of the boys from the past few days...
WOOO! WOOO! Fire fighter Reece to the Rescue!
I recently became a Thirty-One Gifts Independent Consultant! One of my favorite new totes that I've acquired is the double organizer. As soon as I opened it up, the boys had ideas other than organization for it!
Row, Row, Row Your Boat!
A few nights ago we had dessert: Ice Cream Drumsticks! I need to remember not to get the large ones for the boys again...I think I'll stick to the minis!
BRRR! Reece is expressing how cold the ice cream is.
The sound effects are pretty cute too...you'll have to use your imagination!
What a MESS!
In what I think is a stall tactic, the boys will randomly pose next to my flower pot outside our front door as we head out to daycare. Of course, I never pass up an opportunity to take pics of my little guys!!
Cheese!
My little man...he looks like he's ready for school!

Nana's New House

We are very excited that my Mom has purchased a home here in El Dorado, and as soon as she sells her home in Georgia she will be moving to town! Mom closed on her house the end of May, so she was here for a week to check things over with her dog, Molly. The boys loved running in and around the empty house, each picking the perfect spot for their toys!
Garrett on Nana's new porch.
Nana hasn't officially moved in yet...but she did bring some small items that the boys helped carry into the garage.
SOLD! We can't wait to have her here for good!!!!
